Been reading the news this morning. I usually read the NY Times and more often lately , Google news. I read something about Billy Graham. He is doing his next to last crusade. He is 86 years old now and not getting around too well since he broke his hip and leg. I have always admired him because of the absence of scandals in his life as opposed to other tv evangilists. He takes the high road on many subjects including what the Bible says about morals and the state of morals in this country. It also seems that people who identify with him and agree with what he says , aren’t necessisarily Bushites or part of the so called Christian Coalition. Hey , I hope whoever reads my blog will certainly excuse my spelling. I read something else good this morning. There is a fairly new law(2003) which allows the us to proscicute people who go on trips overseas for the purpose of having sex with minors. Even if it can be proven or looks like the person was planning a trip for that reason he can be arrested and tried. An 86 year old man has just been found guilty and sentenced to 200 years in prison under this new law. The law goes by the nickname of the Protect Act. yea!!! There was a big brawl in pro basketball yesterday. surprise, surprise. Scientists think they may have found another missing link, right!! anyway, interesting news morning. I see us going to war with Iran over the nukalar thing. I’m sure Bush won’t have it any other way. The Republicans in congress have circled the wagons around Delay, oh sure!
I’m here at the station for the second day of four this time so I have some time to blog. I was looking at some new electronic gadgets this morning. A new phone/email from T-Mobile caught my eye. I think they called it the blackberry. pretty cool. I’m going to upgrade my phone next month when my contract renews anyway, i may have to get one of those. It has a full keyboard, sortof like the sidekick. it would be cool for text messaging. the regular phone i have now is just to big a hassle for that. Another thing i was interested in is a photo printer for the house. Most of the other things i saw were out of my price range you might say. I hope i’m able to go to Atlanta still on the 24th. One of the guys i work with just about amputated one of his fingers yesterday in and accident with a trailer and hitch. He was supposed to work for me while i took a couple of days off for the trip. There are a couple of other guys from other stations who are willing to fill in here, so it will probably work out. I had two calls yesterday, both medical calls. One chest pain and the other i don’t remember. over and out for now.
