My last day at the fire station. That’s not accurate really. I’ll have two days off after today and then be back for four, then four off, then two on , then surgery and many, many days off. I should be able to grow a rather nice santa claus beard in 6 to 10 weeks. The Jackson saga continues, but it’s very good that mom is not up there in the middle of it. Generally speaking , that’s quite a step family i have up there(read my mind) I finally finished writing up all the back calls that i had while the computer was down here. good to have that out of the way. My wife is taking mom to the optometrist today to have her glaucoma checked. It’s just around the corner. My wife worked all last night, so she has today off and is sleeping most of it. I was going to have somebody come in for me here for a while so i could go and take my mom, but wifey called me this morning saying that she could do it. Mom went to the doctor yesterday and said that she liked her quite a bit. She had some blood work done and i don’t know what else. I’ll be working here Christmas day but i plan on going home for a pretty good while, of course with the fire truck. as i type the phi helicopter is landing across the street from me. I don’t know what call they have been on , or if they have been on a call. They are giving lifeflight from herman hosp. quite a bit of competition i think. we use them a lot here in my town. we are getting a lot of rain this morning and the cold front is supposed to come thru here this evening i believe. we may even have some snow christmas eve and c. day. that would sure be weird.
