I’m back home from having surgery on my neck. The scarry part is that i can’t swallow very well. Something that most people take for granted. I have had swallowing problems in the past so I don’t exactly take it for granted but this is rediculous. It’s hard to even get my coffee down right now. It’s due to the swellng in my throat from all the the things they moved around getting to my backbone. My neck is hurting in new places today but really the pain in the neck and hip isn’t too bad. I’m sure losing more weight since i can’t eat much, but this too shall pass they tell me, but you know when you are in the middle of something you don’t believe them. If the swelling just goes down from here i’ll be happy. It was certainly good to get home for sure. Waking up in recovery was one of the most miserable things i’ve ever encountered, what with the cathater and all. so, over all i’m in a better position now.
