I needs me a dog. This is one of the dogs that we met and hiked with when we took our canadian rocky trip. She was great in every way. A good bear dog, among other things. I miss having a dog, but i don’t miss the loss of freedom that comes with having one. We do a lot of traveling now and that would mean kenneling. Also I don’t miss getting up every time Alex wanted out to pee. Of course I could get a doggy door and figure out how to put it in, but then all the dirt , mud , whatever would come in on the doggy feet unchecked. Someday we will completely retire and then maybe we will get another and just take her with us everywhere we go. That could work. I long to go back to that place in the picture near Jasper, Alberta.
