They are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. That’s a pretty awesome thing to achieve , I think. We used to run around with their daughter and her husband and their kids , when our kids were small. We did a lot of camping together and things like that. It was really good to see all of the kids and grandkids too, today. One of the daughters is living in Colorado with her family now. The other two are in Texas. Anyway, we had a great time.

A couple of sisters that i went to high school with and were in the band with , are coming to visit me at work. They are going to treat me to lunch, too, which is always a good thing. Anytime i don’t have to cook is a good thing. I’m looking forward to seeing them, it’s only been about 40 years. I’ll have to give them a ride around the firestation in my fire truck.
